Hobbies: Fortunately, in addition to the compulsory program, I can also initiate projects like this during my work at the university, which gives me great pleasure. I have always been interested in Latin America and the people, traveling through Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. At home, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and hiking.
Interest in the project: On vacation in the Dominican Republic, we have met Dr. Ing. Milton Moronta. He told us about his primary health care projects, showed the facility on site and shared his plans. I found that so exciting, that I immediately thought we should support this initiative. At home, the idea was born to start a project with students. We have now the first year of construction work behind us and have already achieved a lot. For the next few years I wish, that we could intensify the cooperation and actively help with many new supporters.
